A small proportion are foreign national groups, such as those with connections to Albania and the Western Balkans. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office runs the Asset Recovery Incentivisation Scheme (ARIS), in which criminal property recovered under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 is divided between the Home Office and operational partners, based on their relative contribution to recovering these funds. These funds are calculated and paid quarterly in arrears to agencies, as soon as possible after the end of each quarter.</p><p>The safer communities fund is not operated by the Home Office but by local police forces. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2015 answer text <p>The Government accepts that we have a duty of care to all current and former members of the Armed Forces, and the MoD pay for independent legal advice when both current and former members of the Armed Forces face prosecution in matters related to their service.</p><p>The Armed Forces Covenant sets out the relationship between the nation, the government and the armed forces recognising that the whole nation has a moral obligation to members of the armed forces and their families, and it establishes how they should expect to be treated.</p><p>In Northern Ireland, there is a bespoke aftercare package in place to support former members of the UDR and R IRISH (Home Service), their dependents and widows. This consists of welfare teams spread across Northern Ireland which offers vocational resettlement training, medical support, and a UDR/ R IRISH benevolent fund. In August 2015, the MoD agreed that the UDR &amp; R IRISH (HS) Aftercare Service should continue to exist and be funded since circumstances leading to its inception have not markedly changed, need is still evident and demand is being effectively met. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/11/2016 answer text <p>The Government launched the Joint Fraud Taskforce earlier this year. This partnership between government, law enforcement and the financial sector is working in new innovative ways to deliver a more effective response to fraud. The Taskforce is looking at new ways to ensure individuals have the tools and knowledge to protect themselves from fraudsters, including when transferring money online.</p><p>A Joint Fraud Taskforce partner, Financial Fraud Action UK, recently launched a nation-wide fraud prevention campaign ‘Take 5’ which advises that individuals take five minutes to consider what they are being asked to do, especially if being pressured to take an unusual course of action such as transferring funds to an unknown individual. The Taskforce is also working closely with the financial sector to look at how fraud can be designed out of systems such as internet banking, to stop individuals transferring money to a potential fraudster.</p><p>The Government’s Cyber Aware campaign aims to help small business and individuals protect themselves from cyber criminals by adopting simple secure online behaviours such as having a strong password and always downloading the latest software updates. Cyber Aware works with a range of public and private sector partners to embed cyber security advice into a range of every day touch points, including Get Safe Online, whose remit is to help individuals and small businesses safeguard themselves against fraud and other online data threats.</p><p>The Government is also encouraging all businesses which rely on the Internet to adopt the Cyber Essentials scheme to protect themselves against the most common Internet threats. We know the vast majority of cyber attacks exploit basic weaknesses in IT software and systems. The use of another person’s identification details (or the use of false identification details), often referred to identity theft, is not itself an offence in law.</p><p>Most instances of ‘Identity Theft’ come to light when victim’s details are used fraudulently to obtain goods, services or money using credit arrangements or loans.
