For example, we support, through core and bilateral funding, some of the key UN agencies involved in IDP response, including the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the International Organisation for Migration. The UK supports the urgent diplomatic efforts being made by Turkey and the UN. We call on the Syrian regime and its backers, Russia and Iran, to uphold the de-escalation arrangements they have previously agreed, and for all parties to respect international humanitarian law, including protection of all civilians without discrimination. We are providing additional humanitarian assistance and medical support to Idlib. In April 2017 we introduced a requirement for local planning authorities to publish a statutory brownfield land register by the end of 2017 which will identify which previously developed sites are suitable for housing. We are currently working with representative organisations for local government to ensure local planning authorities have these brownfield land registers in place. In addition to various technical fixes, this release will include the changes necessary to remove waiting days for all new claims made on or after 14 February, as announced in the 2017 Budget. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/03/2015 answer text <p>The Department has recently tendered a research contract to assess the plausibility of scenarios in the report with the highest potential net greenhouse gas emissions occurring in the period to 2030 that result from increased demand from the UK biomass electricity sector.</p><p>DECC is committed to supporting sustainably produced biomass, that delivers real greenhouse gas savings, is cost effective, takes account of wider impacts across the economy and manages possible risks such as to food security and biodiversity. The Department is seeking to bring forward proposals for mandatory sustainability requirements this year.
