The source of most of the data comes from Somerset Council report produced post flooding which is why the information is not split between homes and businesses. These reports are produced as part of the Flood &amp; Water Management Act 2010. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/02/2024 answer text <p>While there are no plans for a specific assessment, the Government remains committed to supporting rural communities, as set out in its Unleashing Rural Opportunity report, published in June 2023. Since the launch of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee's inquiry into Rural Mental Health in 2021, considerable progress has been made to help ensure access to mental health services in rural areas, as outlined in the Government's response to the committee in November 2023.</p><p>Notably, since 2018, we have invested an extra £2.3 billion a year to expand mental health services in England, with the aim of enabling two million more people, including those in rural areas, to access mental health support by March 2024.</p><p>Integrated care boards (ICB) are responsible for decisions about the provision of services in their area and on how funding allocations should be used to meet the needs of people in their areas. There are a range of adjustments made in the ICB allocations formula to account for how the costs of providing health care may vary between different types of rural and urban areas. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/03/2023 answer text <p>Where anyone alleges poor care, neglect or abuse, we expect those providing the service, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other appropriate authorities to take swift action.</p><p>CQC is developing a new single assessment framework to be implemented by the end of the calendar year, which will inform its judgements about quality. The Prime Minister, whilst Foreign Secretary, raised this matter with the Indian External Affairs Minister during her visit to India in March. We continue to work closely with the GoI on this issue, while respecting it is for them to determine the types and validity of the visas it offers. British nationals can continue to use the GoI's regular/paper visa application services for all visa categories. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/11/2016 answer text <p>We have recently consulted on a comprehensive set of reforms to the early years funding system, and one of our proposals is to allow local authorities to use a rurality/sparsity supplement in their local funding formulae, in recognition that there may be unavoidable higher costs to providers operating in sparsely populated, rural areas with limited demand. We are currently considering all responses to the consultation and are planning to publish the government’s response in the autumn.</p><p> </p><p>We are also keen to gather learning and test how the extended entitlement will operate in a range of area types, including rural areas. Through Early Implementation of the 30 Hours Free Childcare entitlement, Northumberland, one of our early implementer local authorities, is looking specifically at how the extended hours work for and impact on providers operating within the most rural postcodes in Northumberland. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/04/2023 answer text <p>We have been consistently clear that the failure of water companies to adequately reduce sewage discharges is totally unacceptable. That is why in August 2022, we published the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/storm-overflows-discharge-reduction-plan" target="_blank">Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan</a> - the most ambitious plan to reduce sewage discharges from storm overflows in water company history.</p><p> </p><p>Environment Agency data shows that 7% of waterbodies in England failed to reach Good Ecological Status because of storm overflows in 2019, a significant contribution to the 36% affected by the wider water industry. This compares to agriculture affecting 40% of water bodies and urban and transport affecting 18%.</p><p> </p><p>We are committed to increasing transparency. We have increased the number of storm overflows monitored across the network from 7% in 2010 to 91% in 2022, and we will reach 100% cover by the end of the year.</p><p> </p><p>Earlier this month, we launched our consultation on Continuous Water Quality Monitoring and Event Duration Monitoring.
