unstar this property answer text <p>The Working Group on Product Recalls and Safety submitted its final report in April 2017. I had intended to publish the report then, but the announcement of the General Election prevented me from doing so.</p><p>Following the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy, I asked the Working Group to urgently review their findings and their report has been published today.</p><p>I have also asked the Working Group to look at further potential areas of product safety and recalls where action might be required, in light of the tragic events at Grenfell Tower.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Embarkation controls were abolished partially in 1994 and completely in 1998, as the paper-based checks were deemed outdated and checks were not carried outon all modes of transport. <br><br>There have been considerable technological advances since the 1990s. Moreover, there are expanding and differing requirements and challenges for border services in the modern world. The Government’s commitment to introduce exit checks takes full account of these developments. <br><br>The new approach will make effective use of electronic systems that are able to support technology-based checks on those leaving the UK and produce more accurate and increasingly valuable information for immigration and border security purposes.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

One of the key areas of work for the review is to look at the available evidence about what factors drive the costs local councils face. unstar this property answer text <p>The Government has noted the paper presented by National Energy Action on February 13<sup>th</sup> and will assess what the implications are for current policies. Government will consider this and other evidence provided by stakeholders as part of the design of any future fuel poverty schemes. In particular it will consider the views of the Committee on Fuel Poverty.</p><p> </p><p>Government recently confirmed plans to reform the Energy Company Obligation, which is worth £640m per year. In 2017-18, 70% of the scheme will be directed at low income households. This represents an increase from £310m to £450m of funding per year. Energy companies are also required to provide over 2 million low income and vulnerable households with a £140 rebate off their energy bill each winter, under the Warm Home Discount Scheme, which is worth £320m per year.</p><p> </p> more like this

All of our reports commissioned between 1 September 2010 and 31 December 2014 adhere to this protocol.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department for Education have four reports that are yet to be published that were commissioned between 1 September 2010 and 31 December 2014. All four comply with the Research Publication Protocol, in accordance with Government Social Research (GSR) best practice.</p> more like this
