	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/06/2018 answer text <p>As announced in Parliament on 4 June 2018, Hitachi and the UK Government have decided to enter into negotiations in relation to the proposed Wylfa Newydd project and Government is considering direct investment into the project. Details of any Government investment are subject to negotiation and yet to be decided.</p><p> </p><p>The successful conclusion of these negotiations will be subject to full Government, regulatory and other approvals—including, but not limited to, value for money, due diligence and state aid requirements. Friend the Secretary of State’s statement to Parliament on 4th June 2018, the Government has decided to enter into negotiations with Hitachi over the Wylfa Newydd new nuclear project. No final decision has yet been taken to proceed with the project.</p><p> </p><p>The Government published a value for money assessment for Hinkley Point C at the time of the deal being signed and will carry out a value for money assessment for any future new nuclear project before a final deal is agreed.</p><p> </p><p>As the Government sent out in its response to the Public Accounts Committee inquiry into Hinkley Point C on 25<sup>th</sup> January 2018, a review of the strategic case for new nuclear would form a key part of the value for money case for any proposed new nuclear project (as it was for Hinkley Point C). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/01/2015 answer text <p>Prior to 2013, work on the illegal wildlife trade (IWT), in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) was handled by individual geographical departments and figures on staffing are not available without disproportionate cost. In 2013 a dedicated illegal wildlife trade team of three full-time staff, including one funded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), was set up in the FCO. This team was responsible for organising the London Conference on IWT in February 2014, working closely with Defra, the lead government department. Following the London Conference, this team was reduced to one full-time staff member. Since July 2014, in the run up to the Botswana Conference, two staff members in the FCO have been working predominantly on IWT, supported by a number of others working part-time.</p><p> </p><p>In the FCO’s overseas network, several UK based and locally engaged staff work part time on IWT. It is not possible to provide a breakdown without disproportionate cost. The London Conference Declaration contained 25 commitments to action on enforcement and criminal justice, eradicating the market for illegal wildlife products and sustainable livelihoods.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>A report describing the UK’s progress on delivering the commitments made in the London Conference Declaration will be published this spring. We have also designed a £10 million package, over four years, to support international action to tackle the illegal wildlife trade, focused on the themes discussed at the London Conference. As part of this package, 19 projects around the world will receive over £5.3 million through the Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK is producing a progress report on behalf of all the countries and Intergovernmental Organisations which adopted the London Conference Declaration. Therefore, an aggregate figure for funds allocated to this matter during this time is not available. In 2013, a dedicated IWT team was established. £113,000 was allocated in financial year 2013-14 towards the costs of the London Conference on IWT held in February 2014. Funds were also contributed towards the conference by other government departments. Wildlife is sought globally for illegal trade because of the <br>high demand for products, and those most valued are covered by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>Data on antibiotic use in the medical and veterinary sectors are currently collated in a different format, which prevents direct comparison.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>However, data from the Health and Social Care Information Centre shows that 376 tonnes of just one class of antibiotic, the β-lactams, was used in primary care in England in 2012. This does not factor in other classes of antibiotic, or those used in secondary care.
