We have commissioned the MAC to un-dertake a full review of the composition of the Shortage Occupation List. This review will enable the MAC to look at which posts are in national shortage and should be given priority within the Tier 2 cap in future. star this property answer text <p>The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to all non-domestic premises, including those which feature experiential escape rooms. Under the Fire Safety Order, the person responsible for the premises must undertake and review regularly a fire risk assessment of the premises and put in place and maintain adequate and appropriate fire precaution measures to mitigate against the risk to life from fire. This includes ensuring adequate escape routes.</p><p>The Government has made available a suite of premises-specific guidance to support responsible persons in complying with the provisions of the Fire Safety Order. These are available here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/workplace-fire-safety-your-responsibilities/fire-risk-assessments" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/workplace-fire-safety-your-responsibilities/fire-risk-assessments</a>.</p><p>As the enforcing authority for the Fire Safety Order in their area, each local fire and rescue authority is required by the Fire and Rescue National Framework to have in place a risk-based inspection programme for auditing compliance. Where a potential new risk emerges, it is for individual authorities to determine how best to use their resources to reduce the risks facing the communities.</p>

star this property answer text <p><br>The Home Office is putting in place measures to ensure that the EU Settlement Scheme is streamlined, user-friendly and accessible to all prospective applicants. That is why we are working in partnership with vulnerable group representatives, Local Authorities and other experts to identify user needs and provide the needed support.</p><p>Since Spring 2018, Local Authorities and Devolved Administration officials have attended regular discussion forums with the Home Office. From Summer 2018, we started a series of regular teleconferences to LAs; 190 have participated so far with participants highlighting the usefulness of information and guidance provided.</p><p>The Home Office is committed to supporting vulnerable EU citizens to obtain UK immigration status and we will continue to engage with representative groups to ensure the needs of vulnerable citizens are taken into account.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>EU citizens make a huge contribution to our economy and society, and we want them to stay. The EU Settlement Scheme enables them to do so. The application process is short and user-friendly, and is accessible on any smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet browser, including Apple devices.</p><p>The ‘EU Exit: Identity Document Check’ app is an optional aspect of the service which allows applicants to prove their identity remotely</p><p><br>The Home Secretary confirmed at the start of April, that Apple will be making the necessary changes and the EU Exit: Identity Document Check’ app will be working on their devices by the end of the year</p><p>Applicants can also post their document and have it returned immediately up-on inspection or visit one of 50 locations to have their document checked.</p><p>If a person wishes to use a family, friend or employer’s Android device until the app is available on Apple then it is perfectly safe and secure for them to do so.</p> more like this

The College has recently published Authorised Professional Practice on mental health. This guidance will support all police officers, including custody staff, in responding effectively to people suffering with mental health issues. Consideration for how to adjust business processes to accommodate and safeguard the vulnerable is incorporated in a range of training and guidance products delivered to Border Force officers, including the core skills training that all Border Force officers receive. There are also special teams across Border Force who provide support to frontline colleagues by providing expert help in identifying those who may be at risk or are vulnerable.</p> more like this
