We received a total of 99 responses, 11 from organisations and 88 from private individuals (of which 21 identified themselves as paying parents, and 24 as receiving parents). Respondents were asked 15 question, four of which discussed the proposal to write off historical arrears.</p><p>Accurately assessing the number of responses opposed specifically to the proposal to write off historical arrears is not straightforward. Not all respondents chose to answer the specific questions, and a large number of responses were about individual case circumstances, and didn’t raise issues within the scope of the consultation. There were estimated to be approximately 360,000 cases where parents would not be offered the opportunity to make representation (below £500 and less than 10 years old or below £1000 and over 10 years old) and approximately 475,000 cases where they would (over £500 and less than 10 years old or over £1000 and over 10 years old). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/07/2019 answer text <p>The National Health Service interim People Plan was published on 3 June 2019, it puts staff at the heart of NHS policy and delivery and recognises the current shortage of nurses as the most urgent challenge facing the health system.</p><p> </p><p>It calls for action to be taken now to make the NHS the best place to work, by reforming the culture and leadership and ensuring all staff (including nurses) feel supported and valued, in an effort to increase workforce recruitment and retention.</p><p> </p><p>The interim Plan proposes to increase the number of newly qualified NHS nurses, support and retain existing nurses, provide nurses with every opportunity to return to work, and bring in nurses from abroad. It commits to delivering 5,000 additional placements for nursing students, 7,500 further Nursing Associates, increasing undergraduate supply and broadening routes into nursing.</p><p> </p><p>There are no post-registration requirements for a Registered Nurse to become a Parkinson’s nurse. Last year, all automated gates across the prison estate were inspected and serviced to ensure that they were in good working order. Following those inspections, each gate was left with the relevant safety features working properly.</p><p> </p><p>Our maintenance providers are instructed to test the operation of all such gates at least once a month, including the relevant safety features.
