Recent initiatives include co-producing a toolkit aimed at improving vaccine uptake among the Black African and Black Caribbean groups, among whom rates have been the lowest. We also produced two animations explaining the entitlement to vaccination for migrants, and held pop-up clinics for those without NHS numbers. Mental health services around England are being expanded to include new mental health “hubs” for new, expectant or bereaved mothers. These will offer physical health checks and psychological therapy in one building. GDS works with departments to set the government’s strategy for digital transformation, including the Government Transformation Strategy.</p><p> </p><p>Within government we have a strong focus on the concept of “digital maturity”, which encapsulates not only delivery of excellent digital services, but improving government’s processes, tools, and infrastructure, developing DDaT capability and upskilling decision makers to ensure we build on these foundations to deliver digital transformation at scale.</p><p> </p><p>The Office of the Secretary of State for Wales does not provide services directly to the public and uses Ministry of Justice DDaT systems for its operations.
