star this property answer text <p>Train operators are expected to have fair and transparent processes for considering Delay Repay applications as set out in detail in their Passenger’s Charter. The train operators use industry delay data provided by Network Rail, who have an obligation to ensure that this delay data is accurate.</p><p> </p><p>If any passenger is unhappy with the decision taken by the train operator with regards to a Delay Repay claim, then they will shortly be able to take this up with the new Rail Ombudsman.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and NHS England are in dialogue with Vertex Pharmaceuticals around access to their portfolio of cystic fibrosis medicines. It is critical that Vertex now re-engages fully with the NICE appraisal process and gives serious consideration to the portfolio deal offer that NHS England made at the end of July. This deal would provide immediate access for patients to all Vertex licensed medicines and future pipeline products once licensed and in advance of the individual NICE appraisals concluding.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Every time the personal allowance increases, the marriage allowance automatically becomes more generous.</p><p>The increase to personal allowance announced at Budget 2018 means that in 2019-20, an individual will be able to transfer £1,250 to a partner, compared to £1,060 in 2015-16.</p><p>This means that in 2019-20, eligible couples can receive a tax reduction of up to £250, or £1,150 if they make a backdated claim to 2015-16.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>In 2002 the Ministry of Defence (MOD) assessed that the Bramley Training Area no longer poses an active risk to safety, this followed munitions clearing operations in 1987 (Operation APPLE) and 1995 (Operation CORNELIUS). However, it is not possible to provide 100% assurance that the site is entirely clear of unexploded ordinance and therefore a formal digging ban remains in place in specified areas. This includes land within the current training area, which is still used regularly by the Army for dry-fire training, and parts of the estate sold by MOD in 1992, where MOD consent is required to build, dig or plant.</p> more like this
