The independent Advisory Group on Non-Ionising Radiation published their report in the UK in 2012 and the European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR) published their report in 2015. PHE considers it is possible that there may be a small increase in overall exposure to radio waves when 5G is added to an existing network or in a new area.
