star this property answer text <p>When the Child Maintenance Service makes a calculation it is based initially on gross income information received directly from HM Revenue and Customs. Taking information directly from HMRC allows us to capture a wide range of income types received by paying parents. Basing the assessment on gross income data has enabled the Child Maintenance Service to significantly speed up the set-up of new cases which can be key to securing regular payments.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Recommendation 17 of the International Olympic Committee's Agenda 2020 seeks to honour clean athletes by awarding an Olympic medal following a positive doping case. This involves organising formal medal ceremonies for medal-winners who receive their Olympic medal following the disqualification of a competitor.</p><p><br>Last month Australian athlete Jared Tallent was presented with an Olympic gold medal for the 50km walk at the London 2012 Games following the disqualification of a Russian athlete for a doping offence. We expect the same treatment for British athletes.</p> more like this

Formal medal ceremonies are arranged for medal-winners who receive their Olympic medal following the disqualification of a competitor. There is absolutely no place for drug cheats in sport and it is completely right that clean athletes receive medals when tests have proven doping violations.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>All individual products purchased in a specific delivery are fully traceable to source but the House Service does not hold aggregated the information in respect of sourcing from individual parts of the UK, and it could only be assembled at disproportionate cost.</p><p>The House Service sources products that meet UK or equivalent standards of production and which are produced with higher environmental standards where possible. In the last financial year, spend on food and drinks in the House of Commons was £3,188,504 and Commons and Lords combined was £4,604,216. Products included in this spend come from various parts of the UK, including Scotland, and additionally from overseas.</p><p>The House Service would welcome more suppliers from Scotland expressing an interest in offering their products through our procurement portal.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The quality assurance audit process following consultation is in place to ensure that the report the Health Professional provides to the Department is of a high standard. This is a very important part of the process to check the information provided is fully explained and justified.</p><p>Where assessments have been graded as either ‘acceptable - report amendment required’ or ‘unacceptable’ the reports are returned to the Assessment Provider for remedial activity. Where possible, this activity should be taken by the Health Professional who carried out the original assessment. DWP is not prescriptive on how changes should be made. The Assessment Provider is responsible for ensuring the returned report is then fit for purpose prior to resubmitting it to DWP.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Independent Assessment Service are committed to providing the highest quality of service to all claimants when conducting a functional PIP assessment and in the preparation of claimant reports for consideration by the DWP.</p><p> </p><p>The figures requested is not available as Health Professionals are not dismissed based on the audit of a single assessment report. Audit is one of a number of tools used to monitor the quality of Health Professionals work and to inform ongoing support and performance management. All Health Professionals who have quality issues identified by audit will receive feedback and additional training as a result. Health Professionals who require full retraining to ensure they meet the required quality standards will receive this. Where Health Professionals do not meet the quality requirements on a regular basis, performance management will be taken, which can lead to dismissal.</p> more like this
