Each request is carefully considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure compliance <br>with the relevant legislation, including the Data Protection Act 1998.<br><br>There is a memorandum of understanding between the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) for <br>disclosures that determine how the DWP provides data. All requests are managed through a central disclosure unit on a case-by case-basis. This can be followed where necessary by a local authority assessment, in line with case law and approved by two social workers. In addition, the person may submit a report from a dental consultant on a voluntary basis. Deportations are a specific subset of returns which are enforced either following a criminal conviction or when it is judged that a person’s removal from the UK is conducive to the public good. The deportation order prohibits the person returning to the UK until such time as it may be revoked.</p><p>Published information on those deported is not separately available. As such, the question has been interpreted as referring to enforced returns. In an enforced return, it has been established that a person has breached UK immigration laws and / or has no valid leave to remain in the UK. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/09/2015 answer text <p>The table below shows the published National Statistics for the number of illegal migrants removed in the last three years for which complete data is available. Most immigration offenders are removed under administrative or illegal entry powers from the UK . Deportations are a specific subset of removals which are enforced either following a criminal conviction or when it is judged that a person’s removal from the UK is conducive to the public good. The deportation order prohibits the person returning to the UK until such time as it may be revoked.
