CFDs provide efficient long-term support for, and incentivise investment in, low carbon electricity generation. The Government has no current plans to require additional processes and checks before registration.</p><p> </p><p>Companies House maintains statistics on the nature of the complaints it receives about alleged address fraud.</p><p> </p><p>Companies House follows up on all complaints received about newly incorporated companies and works closely with law enforcement agencies where fraudulent activity is suspected. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/07/2017 answer text <p>As stated in the Government’s Transformation Strategy and the Conservative Manifesto, this government is committed to providing services that are digital by default - reducing paper and manual processing, reducing cost and improving user satisfaction.</p><p>BEIS is actively working with all its Arm’s Length Bodies, internal teams and contracted service providers to reduce the amount of paper processing by delivering services digitally wherever possible. There will always be some exceptions where, for legal reasons, paper processing is required but we will continue to explore how new technologies can overcome these barriers and implement them as soon as possible.</p><p>Some examples of what the BEIS Group has already delivered or are in the process of delivering include:</p><p>Land Registry has developed a new Local Land Charge Register Service to digitise existing paper records from 326 Local Authorities and migrate them to a single national Local Land Charge register. This will improve resilience, improve the customer experience of using this service and introduce standardise fees.</p><p>The Innovation Funding Service has developed a new digital service to replace a previously paper based process to submit online applications for research and development funding. Innovate UK run approximately 100 competitions per year and receives in excess of 4,000 applications.</p><p>Finally, the Intellectual Property Office has designed a new digital service that enables customers to apply for a patent design online. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/12/2016 answer text <p>Flexible working benefits both employees and employers: it can enable people with mental health issues to maximise their contribution at work and help employers to retain and make use of their skills. The Government extended the Right to Request Flexible Working to all employees with 26 weeks qualifying service in 2014, where previously it applied only to employees with children and carers of certain adults. The legislation strikes a balance between giving employees flexibility and giving employers the certainty that they need to plan. Many employers agree flexible working arrangements with employees outside the statutory framework. I would encourage employers to be open to flexible working options when recruiting, and to make this visible when advertising jobs.</p><p>Our health and welfare systems need to reflect the benefits that work can bring and offer the opportunity to work for all those who can, help for those who could, and care for those who cannot.
