Where taxpayers’ money is misused, we expect our partners to take firm and immediate action and that partners with which we work protect the UK aid funds for which they are responsible, whilst acting with honesty and with integrity at all times. Any allegations of fraud and or corruption are subject to robust investigation.</p><p> </p><p>In January 2018, allegations of fraud and corruption arose in the Uganda Refugee Operation. The Government of Uganda, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, World Food Programme and Development Partners (represented by the UK, EU and US) agreed on the Joint Plan of Action, which resulted in systems improvements.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence is committed to reducing its paper-based processes by digitising these where possible. The Department is committed to delivering the Government Transformation Strategy and, in February 2017, published the Defence Information Strategy highlighting its strategic objectives to deliver user-centric digital services.</p><p>Work to identify where manual processes exist and explore opportunities to digitise them is ongoing across the Department. For example, as part of the transformation of our Defence Business Services organisation, a Forms Digitisation project is seeking to automate as many paper forms as possible in order to reduce manual processing and improve the experience for the end user.</p> more like this
