star this property answer text <p>Any form of modern slavery is unacceptable and the UK is committed to taking firm action to tackle all types of exploitation.</p><p>Her Majesty’s Government is concerned about reports of child trafficking in orphanages overseas. The Modern Slavery Act 2015 recognises child trafficking as a form of modern slavery and includes a provision to allow for the prosecution of British nationals who commit modern slavery offences internationally.</p><p>The Home Office is working closely with civil society, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for International Development to gather further evidence of orphanage trafficking overseas. Where there is clear evidence of the role of UK tourists or donors abetting child trafficking in orphanages overseas, we will consider the most effective action to take.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Department has commissioned Public Health England (PHE) to conduct a review of the evidence for effective interventions to reduce harm from air pollution. PHE is also providing support to local authorities on interpreting the evidence relating to local air pollution and its impact on public health.</p><p> </p><p>PHE is working with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and other stakeholders to inform individuals with heart conditions of the appropriate advice regarding reducing exposure to air pollutants, including when pollution levels are elevated.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>This Government is determined to ensure that disabled people have the same access to transport as everyone else, and that they are able to travel easily and with confidence.</p><p> </p><p>Stations must display relevant information on information displays. In addition, through their Franchise Agreements train companies are required to make timetable information available and free of charge in booklets or similar format at staffed stations.</p><p> </p><p>Disabled People’s Protection Policies, required as a condition of a train operator’s licence, require train companies to demonstrate that the varied needs of different disabled passengers are taken into account when considering how information is communicated. All information about train services on display at stations must be made available through appropriate telephone help lines and staffed information points.</p> more like this
