<p>Leaving the European Union means leaving the Common Agricultural Policy. We now
have an opportunity to take back control of our policies on agriculture and the environment.</p><p>
</p><p>This Government has pledged to continue to commit the same cash total in funds
for farm support for the duration of this parliament, providing much needed certainty
to farmers and landowners.</p><p> </p><p>Continued support is critically important,
and so is reform. We need to take the opportunity that being outside the Common Agricultural
Policy will give us to use public money to reward environmentally responsible land
use.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has pledged to work with farmers, food producers
and environmentalists across Britain to devise a new agri-environment system.</p><p>
