star this property answer text <p>The UK Government is committed to convene and lead international engagement on CCUS through engaging in multilateral fora and fostering bilateral relationships to collaborate and share lessons on CCUS.</p><p> </p><p>Domestically, In March 2023 we announced up to £20 billion funding for early deployment of CCUS across all sectors. This includes the £1 billion Carbon Capture Usage and Storage (CCUS) Infrastructure Fund, supporting the ambition for CCUS in four industrial clusters by 2030 at the latest.</p><p> </p><p>This follows previous UK Government investment into CCUS between­ 2004 and 2021 the UK Government has invested over £346 million into CCUS Research, Development and Deployment (RD&amp;D). This funding has ensured the UK remains at the forefront of CCUS Research and Innovation, developing the skills, knowledge, and technology to allow the UK to deploy CCUS domestically and export our expertise around the world.</p> more like this

We will use all tools at our disposal to protect the UK and our interests from any Iran-linked threats.</p><p>I recognise the importance of tackling all threats to, and interference in, the functioning of our democracy and our civil society.</p><p>As I announced in this House on 1 November, the Prime Minister has asked me to lead a taskforce to drive forward work to protect UK democratic processes. This taskforce will consider the full range of threats, including interference, to build further resilience within our democratic institutions and safeguard against physical, personnel and cyber threats.</p> more like this

The UK unequivocally condemns the firing of rockets at Jerusalem and locations within Israel. We strongly condemn these acts of terrorism from Hamas and other terrorist groups. This includes the recent statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which praised Nashat Milhem as a martyr following his attack in Tel Aviv on New Year’s Day. We condemn the glorification of terrorism and all incitement to commit violence, whichever side it comes from. We regularly raise incitement with the Palestinian Authority, and have urged key figures to encourage calm and condemn violence.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We absolutely condemn the glorification of terrorism and all incitement to commit violence, whichever side it comes from, and we will seek to raise this specific issue with the Palestinian Authority in the near future. Since the start of the current violence we have spoken regularly to both the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority, urging them to use their influence to de-escalate the tensions. We regularly raise incitement with the Palestinian Authority, and have urged key figures to encourage calm and condemn violence. We continue to support the reinstatement of the Tripartite Committee as the appropriate channel to deal with allegations of incitement from either side.</p> more like this

IAEA access to the site remains an important step in addressing the Agency’s concerns. We fully support the IAEA’s work on this crucial issue.
