Thameslink trains will enter passenger service this spring and IEP trains will enter service on the Great Western Main Line from 2017 and the East Coast Main Line from 2018. Hitachi Rail’s Class 800/801 IEP train manufacturing facility was opened by the Prime Minister on 3 September, IEP depot construction continues as planned and testing of the three IEP test trains continues on the East Coast Main Line. In terms of Thameslink, Siemens has delivered the first two Class 700 trains and the Secretary of State opened the new Thameslink Programme Three Bridges traincare facility on 15 October. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/02/2019 answer text <p>Renewable electricity technologies are currently supported by the Contracts for Difference scheme, for which we have made up to £557 million available as announced in our Clean Growth Strategy. We are also investing £177 million in innovation funding to further reduce the costs of renewable technologies.</p><p> </p><p>In June 2018, we launched our landmark Nuclear Sector Deal, worth over £200 million, which will reduce costs, drive innovation and increase diversity across the sector. We are also investing a further £2.5 billion to support low carbon innovation up to 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has been supporting low carbon and renewable heating through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) since 2011. The non-domestic RHI offers support to businesses, charities and public bodies for a range of technologies and fuel uses. The domestic RHI, introduced in 2014, supports householders in installing biomass boilers, air-and ground-source heat pumps and solar thermal installations.</p><p> </p><p>As of December 2018, the RHI has supported over 85,000 participants in transitioning to low-carbon heating: over 19100, through the non-domestic scheme and nearly 66,000 through the domestic scheme. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/02/2015 answer text <p>The Department’s senior officials attend four weekly meetings with the train operators senior management team, where all aspects of performance under the franchise agreement can be scrutinised and challenged. In terms of Govia Thameslink Railway's (GTR's) delivery of services to passengers, while operational performance on its Great Northern route is robust, performance on its Thameslink route has been poor.</p><p> </p><p>Ministers and officials have held a number of meetings with Network Rail, GTR and the Office of Rail Regulation to discuss the poor performance on the Thameslink route. This has resulted in GTR and Network Rail publishing a high level improvement plan on their websites which sets out the actions they are taking to turn things around. They have also committed to updating the plan by the end of February with specific commitments on the outputs that will be delivered. A further £160m to extend the programme and deliver step-free access at an additional 68 stations. In addition, whenever infrastructure works are carried out at stations, they must comply with the relevant UK and EU accessibility standards.
