The Government supports the industry’s approach to this issue, including the UK Aviation Industry Code of Practice on Disruptive Passengers, and initiatives such as the ‘One Too Many’ awareness campaign and the introduction of tamper-proof bags for duty free alcohol sales. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/04/2020 answer text <p>The safety of staff and passengers is a priority, and measures are already in place to protect people’s health and safety when travelling by air. All airports are encouraged to follow Public Health England guidance on preventing the spread of COVID-19. PHE has also provided specific guidance on health and safety for flight crews. The advice for travellers is the same as for the rest of the UK population. The Government’s “stay at home” posters are on display at all UK airports and many airports have the messaging on digital screens as well. We are working with the Law Commission to make buying a freehold or extending a lease easier, quicker and cheaper – and to reinvigorate Commonhold to provide consumers with a choice of tenure and the Right to Manage to help empower those that wish to, to take on management responsibilities for their properties</p><p><br> In January this year the Law Commission published the first of four reports, on the valuation aspects of enfranchisement, and on 21 July a further three reports on the remaining aspects of enfranchisement as well as Commonhold and Right to Manage. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/11/2020 answer text <p>By September our ongoing ‘Everyone In’ campaign had supported over 29,000 vulnerable people, with over 10,000 in emergency accommodation and nearly 19,000 provided with settled accommodation or move on support. Launched in the summer, the Government’s Next Steps Accommodation Programme makes available the financial resources needed to support local authorities and their partners to prevent those accommodated during the pandemic from returning to the streets. We announced allocations of £91.5 million to local authorities on 17 September to pay for immediate support to ensure that as many people as possible do not return to the streets. On 29 October, we announced allocations of more than £150 million to local partners to deliver more than 3,300 new long-term homes for rough sleepers across the country.</p><p>Backed by a further £15 million, the ‘Protect Programme’ forms part of the ongoing targeted support to protect some of the most vulnerable people in our communities from COVID-19. This is on top of the previously announced £10 million Cold Weather Fund for all councils to help keep rough sleepers safe this winter. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/09/2022 answer text <p>The department is investing £2.6 billion between 2022 and 2025 to support local authorities to deliver new places and improve existing provision for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), or who require alternative provision (AP). This represents a significant, transformational investment in new high needs provision. It will support local authorities to deliver new places in mainstream and special schools, as well as other specialist settings, and will also be used to improve the suitability and accessibility of existing buildings.</p><p>As part of this commitment, in March 2022, the department announced High Needs Provision Capital Allocations amounting to over £1.4 billion of new investment, focused on the 2023/24 and 2024/25 academic years. In June 2022, the department announced we will build up to 60 new, centrally delivered special and AP free schools. The application process for special schools opened on 10 June 2022.</p><p>This is alongside an increase in high needs revenue funding, which is rising by £1.65 billion over two years, between the 2021/22 and 2023/4 financial years. This is an increase of 21%, bringing total high needs revenue funding to over £9.7 billion by 2023/24. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/09/2022 answer text <p>The department has announced funding for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects for those training in the 2022/23 academic year. As graduates in these subjects attract the highest salaries outside teaching, we are offering a £24,000 tax-free bursary or a £26,000 tax-free scholarship in chemistry, computing, mathematics, and physics. This reflects the priority we place on training teachers to teach STEM subjects.</p><p>We are offering a Levelling Up Premium worth up to £3,000 tax-free annually for maths, physics, chemistry and computing teachers in the first five years of their careers, who choose to work in disadvantaged schools.
