The most recent publication is the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/english-indices-of-deprivation-2010" target="_blank">English Indices of Deprivation 2010</a>, published in March 2011. The devolved administrations each publish their own Indices of Deprivation but there is no UK-wide version. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/03/2015 answer text <p>At the end of December 2014, local authorities had identified 117,910 troubled families; all of whom were, or had been, engaged in the programme.</p><p> </p><p>As of the end of February 2015, local authorities had reported that 105,671 families had been ‘turned around’ and 10,508 of these families included a family member who had moved off out of work benefits and into work for a period of at least 13 weeks.</p><p> </p><p>My Department regularly publishes this information online. This compares to 3,140 when this data was first collected in 2007. This is the only information reported on young people from households in temporary accommodation. These are local schemes, and it is for local authorities to ensure that the effect on specific groups of council tax payers is proportionate and fair.</p><p>Spending on council tax benefit doubled under the last Government, costing taxpayers £4 billion a year – equivalent to almost £180 a year per household. Welfare reform is vital to tackle the budget deficit left by the last Administration. Our reforms to localise council tax support now give councils stronger incentives to support local firms, cut fraud, promote local enterprise and get people into work. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2014 answer text <p>There is a range of assistance with energy costs available to low income and vulnerable consumers.</p><p> </p><p>Some policies offer automatic payments. For example, Cold Weather Payments provide £25 for each 7 day period of very cold weather to eligible households. The cost of this scheme is not only dependent on who is eligible but also on the number of consecutive days of very cold weather in a given winter.</p><p> </p><p>Other types of assistance are set at a given level of annual support, irrespective of the number of eligible consumers. For example, Affordable Warmth is estimated to deliver energy efficiency and heating measures worth around £350 million. Whilst a consumer needs to be claiming certain types of benefits to be eligible for the scheme, support is capped at a certain target level and therefore extending the scheme's eligibility criteria would not necessarily affect the cost of the scheme.</p><p> </p><p>These examples highlight that the cost of assistance is dependent on a number of factors beyond simply whether a consumer is eligible for support. We estimate 8 million people will be receiving Universal Credit once it has been fully rolled out. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2014 answer text <p>Definitive estimates of participation in education, training and employment for young people aged 16-18 are published by the Department for Education in a Statistical First Release (SFR) each June.</p><p>These estimates cannot be broken down by ethnic group. However, local authorities in England collect information on 16-18 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) in their area and their ethnic group, which they report to the Department for Education through the National Client Caseload Information System.</p><p>This information shows that, at the end of June 2014, 11.9% of young people NEET were from a non-white ethnic group, compared with 17.7% of the 16-18 cohort as a whole. They may record young people as ‘destination not known’ for a number of reasons. It may be that a local authority does not have effective information sharing arrangements with schools and colleges, or because young people have left their last known address and cannot be contacted.</p><p>The Department for Education publishes annual local level data showing the proportion of 16 to 18 year olds whose destination was not known, alongside statistics on 16 to 18 year olds not in education, employment or training.
