We are clear, from discussions with other Member States, that any schemes to transfer unaccompanied should not act as a draw. However, the primary responsibility for unaccompanied children in France lies with the French authorities.</p><p> </p><p>In Autumn last year, the French Government requested the support of the UK Government for its clearance of the Calais camp. As part of our comprehensive support for the camp clearance we transferred more than 750 children to the UK directly from France. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2017 answer text <p>The Data Protection Bill, which recently received its second reading, will create a modern legal framework for the UK, suitable for the digital age, incorporating the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It will require either clearer and affirmative consent from individuals to be sought, or apply additional safeguards where data processing is allowed in the absence of consent. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) recently published draft guidance on consent under the GDPR; this can be found on the ICO's website - www.ico.org.uk.</p><p> </p><p>Under the new law where direct marketing by post involves the processing of personal data, data controllers will need a legal basis for such processing. Article 6 of GDPR lists a number of possible legal bases which in certain circumstances can be relied upon by data controllers. However, during the 2016/17 tax year approximately 590m payments to individuals were reported via RTI. 5.7% of those were reported late. We have also announced the most ambitious post-16 reforms since the introduction of A levels 70 years ago.</p><p> </p><p>The government wants the UK to be the best place to start and grow a digital business. However, a very small number of data quality issues create discrepancies and these can have an effect on an individual’s tax and benefits position. This will require mutual confidence in regulatory and supervisory structures, and will reflect the level of cooperation in this area. The Chief Minister of Gibraltar has confirmed that Gibraltar will meet UK standards of regulation, supervision and enforcement consistent with global standards which will allow its important financial sector to maintain its access to the UK.
