A significant amount of data is already published that is disaggregated for Wales.</p><p>Officials in the Ministry of Justice and His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service continue to work with Welsh Government officials to consider areas in which Wales-specific data is not available and examine whether any such data might further aid the delivery of justice in Wales.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>HMCTS assessed the Single Justice Procedure Notice (SJPN) following a pilot with two prosecutors, the Metropolitan Police Service and TV Licensing, between December 2019 and February 2020 where a redesigned SJPN was trialled.</p><p>The SJPN was redesigned to encourage engagement. The pilot assessment showed that this was successful as the online plea rates and form completion improved following the redesigned SJPN. star this property answer text <p>As a result of the Renting Homes Wales Act 2016 introduced by the Welsh Government, implemented in December 2022, changes to the Possession Claim Online (PCOL) service are required for users making a claim for possession of a property located in Wales.</p><p>Work is ongoing between HMCTS and Welsh Government to agree the scope and funding of these changes to ensure compliance with the legislation.</p><p>PCOL is currently available in the Welsh language and this will continue to be the case when the service is resumed for properties located in Wales.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Office of the Public Guardian’s services cover both England and Wales and as such we provide paper forms to allow customers to apply for Lasting Powers of Attorney in Welsh.</p><p> </p><p>The Powers of Attorney Bill currently progressing through Parliament will, for the first time, provide users with the option to digitally create a lasting power of attorney and to apply to register it.  We intend this digital channel to be available in Welsh to ensure our Welsh customers benefit from this service.  As part of ongoing work to design how the digital service will work, officials are engaging with key stakeholders in Wales to ensure that the needs of Welsh speaking users are met.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government is satisfied the measures in these clauses of the National Security Bill are justified, will help improve public protection and are proportionate in nature.</p><p> </p><p>They will enable the UK’s security services to apply for:</p><p> </p><ol start="1"><li><p>A reduction in civil damages in national security proceedings where a claimant has been involved in wrongdoing associated with terrorism;</p></li></ol><ol start="2"><li><p>A court order that would freeze or forfeit damages payable where the court is satisfied that there is a real risk of a claimant using their award to fund acts of terror.</p></li></ol><p> </p><p>All applications will be subject to the independent determination of the courts on an assessment of the evidence in individual cases.</p> more like this
