Information pertaining to this period is not held centrally and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p><p>Responsibility for funding general practice premises development has now been transferred to NHS England.</p><p> </p><p>Between 1 April 2013 and 1 April 2014, more than 100 business cases for premises development were approved by NHS England. NHS England <ins class="ministerial">will be publishing </ins><del class="ministerial">has now published</del> Principles of Good Practice <ins class="ministerial">later in the autumn. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/06/2014 answer text <p>The Department set up Health Education England (HEE) to deliver a better health and healthcare workforce for England. HEE is responsible for ensuring a secure workforce supply for the future balancing need against demand, taking into account factors such as the age profile of the existing workforce, the impact of technology, and new drugs.</p><p> </p><p>The Department has recognised the need to increase the general practitioner (GP) workforce and between September 2010 and September 2013, the number of full time equivalent GPs has risen by 1,051. Additionally, the Department has included in the HEE mandate a requirement that “HEE will ensure that 50% of trainees completing foundation level training enter GP training programmes by 2016”.</p><p> </p><p>Further work is being undertaken by HEE to improve applications and fill rate in to GP training to support the mandate target of 3,250 appointments into GP training by 2016 in England. This includes a review of the GP recruitment process, developing a pre-GP year to give exposure to prospective GP applicants of the specialty and careers advice for foundation doctors and medical students.</p><p> </p><p>In recognition of the contribution the GP workforce makes in the NHS, HEE will also undertake additional work on GP recruitment and retention, return to practice and reducing attrition rates, all of which will play a part in increasing the GP workforce.</p><p> </p><p>The following table indicates the number of posts commissioned and filled and the fill rate for GP training in England for the last five years. There are 12 schools in special measures in Cumbria.</p><p> </p><p>Of these 12 schools, nine have received HMI monitoring visits where they have been judged to be either making reasonable progress or their plans are fit for purpose. Two schools are awaiting monitoring visits.</p><p> </p><p>The Interim Executive Board of Walney School has voted to become an academy on 1 September 2014, sponsored by Queen Katherine Academy Trust. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/05/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>I have been asked to reply on behalf of the Ministry of Justice</p><p> </p><p>Simple cautions (previously police cautions) are a non-statutory disposal available to the police to dispose of any offence committed by an adult designed for dealing with low level, mainly first time offending. The Ministry of Justice issues guidance on the process to be followed by the police and the CPS when they are administering simple cautions for adult offenders</p><p> </p><p>The Government is clear that serious offences should always be brought to court, and to ensure that there is increased public confidence in the justice system, last year announced changes to stop the use of cautions for indictable only offences and certain serious either way offences unless there are exceptional circumstances and a senior police officer, as well as the CPS for certain cases, has agreed that a caution should be administered.</p><p>The MOJ guidance on Adult Simple Cautions was amended in November last year to reflect these changes, and we are legislating in the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill to place statutory restrictions around their use.</p><p> </p><p>Information on cautions is not held by parliamentary constituency. If a baby requires level 3 neonatal care, which is the highest level of specialist care, the Trust contacts the nearest level 3 units to locate a suitable available cot. The regional level 3 units are at the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in Norwich. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/03/2014 answer text <p>Non-statutory guidance, ‘Managing Medicines in Schools and Early Years Settings, is available to schools to help them manage medicines and supporting children with medical needs.</p><p>From September 2014, there will be a new duty, (introduced in the Children and Families Act 2014), on governing bodies of maintained schools (and proprietors of academies) to make arrangements to support pupils at school with medical conditions and to have regard to statutory guidance.
