As such, HM Treasury has not conducted research into this topic.</p><p> </p><p>The FCA is the UK’s conduct of business regulator and is an independent public body. The FCA has confirmed that it will provide a written response to the Member’s question. The Commission requires all operators to monitor gambling activity and to intervene where a customer may be at risk of harm. It has consulted on tightening its rules on customer interaction for online operators and will publish a response and next steps in the summer.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The government launched its Review of the Gambling Act 2005 on 8 December with the publication of a Call for Evidence. As part of the broad scope of the Review, we called for evidence on the effectiveness of our regulatory system, including protections for online gamblers and the Gambling Commission's powers and resources. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2024 answer text <p>The Government is committed to improving the sexual health of the whole population, which would encompass access to and quality of sexual health services within England, including in the Colne Valley constituency.</p><p>Public health services commissioned by local authorities in England continue to be funded through a ring-fenced Public Health Grant. In 2024/25, the total Public Health Grant to local authorities has been confirmed at £3.603 billion, through which sexual health services are funded. Local authorities are best placed to commission sexual health services that best meet the needs of their local population. We will work with local government and other key partners to prevent ill health, improve the wider determinants of health, reduce the inequalities that drive poor health, and agree on the most effective interventions to achieve our shared ambitions.</p><p>The Government has committed to commission a new HIV Action Plan to end new HIV transmissions within England by 2030, which will consider how best to improve access to HIV prevention and care. It is vital that all potential donors are identified and referred to the specialist donation team. The strategy recognises that commissioners should keep the demand for intensive care beds under review to ensure that intensive care capacity is not a barrier to donation.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There were 10.6 adult critical care, paediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care beds per 100,000 population in England in May 2015. Applications are subject to peer review and judged in open competition, with awards being made on the basis of the importance of the topic to patients and health and care services, value for money and scientific quality.
