star this property answer text <p>The Department has no plans to lift the moratorium on traffic sign authorisations prior to the new Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) being introduced. The moratorium does not, however, apply to all traffic sign categories and officials will continue to consider authorisations for those signs not covered by the moratorium.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>On 28 August the Department launched a further consultation on the draft TSRGD which runs until 6 October. The new TSRGD is scheduled to come into force in Spring 2016, subject to Parliamentary approval.</p><p> </p> more like this
