	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/09/2020 answer text <p>The Ministry of Justice has not conducted an assessment of the CPS’s use of restorative justice. This is because the CPS has a very limited role in restorative justice (reparative conditions are an option for conditional cautions) and it does not provide or fund restorative justice services.</p><p>Under the Code of Practice for Victims of Crime, all victims have the right to receive information about the availability of restorative justice services. The Code also stipulates the obligations on providers of restorative justice, including ensuring that victims are able to give informed consent to participation and that it is in the best interests of the victims.</p><p>The Ministry of Justice provides funding to Police and Crime Commissioners to commission a wide range of local support services for victims, including restorative justice services. From April 2018 to March 2019 the Ministry provided about £68m, with about £4.4m spent on restorative justice services. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/07/2015 answer text <p>To help understand the needs of local authorities and support them and their partners in delivering the Care Act, together with local government we are have agreed approaches to:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>- implementation assurance: to monitor progress with preparations for delivery, including the required actions of all organisations across the whole programme;</p><p> </p><p>- implementation support: identifying requirements for support with implementation, including specific support materials and more bespoke advice and consultancy; and</p><p> </p><p>- benefits realisation and evaluation: to track that changes to the care and support system are being embedding into practice and delivering what was intended.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>National stocktake surveys led by the Local Government Association and Association of Directors of Adult Social Service provide an overview of readiness, delivery confidence and key issues, supported by follow-up discussions and analysis to validate results.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department has also agreed with the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services and the Local Government Association a process for the ongoing monitoring of specified demand data in all local authorities from 1 April 2015, based on the areas of most significant risk as identified by local authorities.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Over the past year, the national statutory local authority data returns collected by the Health and Social Care Information Centre have all been assessed to ensure that they collect the information required on the Care Act. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2015 answer text <p>The National Health Service patient, visitor and staff car parking principles, published on 23 August 2014, ask NHS hospitals to publish:</p><p> </p><p>- their parking policy;</p><p> </p><p>- their implementation of the NHS car parking principles;</p><p> </p><p>- financial information relating to their car parking arrangements; and</p><p> </p><p>- summarised complaint information on car parking and actions taken in response.</p><p> </p><p>We expect this information to be displayed prominently on trust websites so that patients and the public can hold the NHS locally to account where unfair parking charges and practices remain in place.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Results from the 2015 Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (someished car parking princioplesll NHS organisations to take steps to ensurePLACE) collection show that over 75% of sites that charge for car parking currently operate a concessions scheme and display it prominently. These principles made it clear that NHS trusts should provide concessions for several groups including visitors with relatives who are gravely ill and visitors to relatives who have an extended stay in hospital. They make it clear that NHS trusts should publish:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>- their parking policy;</p><p> </p><p>- their implementation of the NHS car parking principles;</p><p> </p><p>- financial information relating to their car parking arrangements; and</p><p> </p><p>- summarised complaint information on car parking and actions taken in response.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In line with our policy of making all key information transparently available to patients, our expectation is that this information including information on concessions will be displayed prominently on trust websites so that patients and the public can hold the NHS locally to account where unfair parking charges and practices remain in place.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Health and Social Care Information Centre collects information annually via the Patient-Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) on behalf of the Department on NHS compliance with these principles, including the provision of concessions. The car parking principles provide clear direction and leadership but a central interference in these freedoms would not help NHS trusts and could result in unwarranted interference in how their clinical services are locally managed and delivered.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The powers available to the Secretary of State for Health under Section 42 of the NHS Act 2006 to provide funding to NHS organisations in distress are not appropriate for car parking.
