star this property answer text <p>Local authorities are responsible for planning and securing sufficient school places in their area. We have committed £5 billion between 2011 and 2015 to help local authorities to create new school places, and an additional £2.35 billion up to 2017. Bradford has been allocated £88million in Basic Need funding for 2011 to 2017, in addition to centrally funded places through the Free Schools programme.</p><p> </p> more like this

From 2013-2014, the total schools revenue budget has been reported to the Department for Education prior to academy recoupment and does therefore include academy data.</p></li><li><p>During 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 the schools revenue budget data included the pupil premium. In 2013–2014 and 2014–2015 the pupil premium was paid as a separate grant and no longer included in this data.</p></li></ol><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
