	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2015 answer text <p>From April 2017, we will be introducing the new Youth Obligation for Universal Credit (UC) claimants aged 18-21 who will be expected and supported to look for work. This new programme of support will help young people develop skills and experience to get and keep work.</p><p>The first three weeks of this will be a Work Coach led Intensive Activity Period (IAP), where young people on the Youth Obligation will complete a set curriculum of activity designed to help establish them as effective full time job-seekers straight away and support them into work as soon as possible.</p><p>Any requirements placed on claimants through the Youth Obligation will be reasonable and tailored to their individual needs and capabilities, taking into consideration any health condition they may have.</p><p>We will set out our policy design for disabled young people under the Youth Obligation in due course.</p> answering member constituency Witham answering member printed Priti Patel question first answered 12/10/2015 15:31:29 answering member 4066 label Biography information for Priti Patel

Certain expenses, such as child care costs and travel can also be reimbursed.</p><p>Young people participating in a traineeship can qualify for existing financial support, including the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund, Free Meals, and Learning and Learner Support funding for 19 to 24 year olds. The CSA cases currently being selected for closure are those in segment 4; having completed the planned selection of segments 1, 2 and 3. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/06/2015 answer text <p /> <p>The Child Maintenance Service computer systems automatically check whether clients making applications to the 2012 Scheme also have a case with Child Support Agency (CSA).</p><p> </p><p>At February 2015, the Child Maintenance Service had received around 7,900 new applications from clients with CSA cases which are closing. Of these, 52 (around 0.6%) have had liability set up on the 2012 scheme before their CSA liability ended.</p><p> </p><p>Processes are in place to correct these cases through specialist teams who provide individual advice on a case by case basis.
