The current contract (2016-19) is being delivered by Ipsos MORI, as was the previous contract (2013-16). It is not appropriate to provide the precise costs paid to the survey provider, as this is commercially sensitive information. Over the contract period 2013-16, the budget of the GP Patient Survey was approximately £4 million per year. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2018 answer text <p>The Department funds Anthony Nolan and NHS Blood Transplant to improve equity of access to unrelated donor stem cell transplantation for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic (BAME) patients through targeted recruitment to the Anthony Nolan and the NHS Stem Cell Registry.</p><p> </p><p>More than £20 million has been provided to NHS Blood and Transplant and Anthony Nolan for stem cell donation since 2015, and this funding includes very specific stipulations about the numbers of newly registered bone marrow donors, and the proportion of umbilical cords stored in the UK Cord Blood Bank that must be from BAME backgrounds (35-40%). This includes specific funding to support recruitment of donors from BAME backgrounds.</p><p> </p><p>In 2016 NHS Blood Transplant began a partnership with Team Margot and launched the Golden Ticket campaign. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/03/2017 answer text <p>The majority of our investments to the HIV response is now directed through multilateral organisations such as the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, UNITAID and UNAIDS, given their greater reach and scale. The timing of disbursements partly accounts for the difference in spend between years.</p><p>Estimated direct bilateral spend on HIV programmes is expected to fall between 2014-15 and 2016-17 in Kenya, Malawi, and Uganda. The UK has made a £1.1billion pledge to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria for the 5th replenishment 2017-2019, increased from £800million for the 4th replenishment. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2016 answer text <p>Overbooking is a widespread commercial practice amongst airlines to reduce the number of empty seats, given the likelihood that a proportion of passengers will not check in. By reducing the number of empty seats, overbooking keeps fares lower than they would otherwise be.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government understands the frustration of passengers who are being denied boarding due to overbooking. Regulation (EC) 261/2004, with its passenger compensation levels set at levels penalising the industry, was introduced to discourage industry practices that were detrimental to the passenger. The Regulation requires air carriers to provide overbooked passengers prescribed minimum levels of financial compensation, which in particular on short-haul flights may exceed the flight ticket price.
