The first is the Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service, which supports serving personnel who need additional support as they are leaving the armed forces and veterans who have mental health issues. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2018 answer text <p>We have made an additional £1.4 billion available for children’s mental health service transformation and are on track to ensure that an additional 70,000 children and young people access community mental health services annually by 2020/21.</p><p> </p><p>We have introduced two waiting time standards for children and young people and are on track to meet both of these standards. The first aims for 95% of children (up to 19 years old) with eating disorders to receive treatment within a week for urgent cases and four weeks for routine cases. The second aims for 50% of patients of all ages experiencing a first episode of psychosis to receive treatment within two weeks of referral.</p><p> </p><p>Our Children and Young People’s Green Paper, jointly published with the Department for Education, sets out how we plan to go further. We are piloting a four-week waiting time to improve access to services and are introducing new mental health support teams. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/12/2018 answer text <p>The Mental Health Data Set, published by NHS Digital, sets out the number of referrals received by National Health Service specialist children’s mental health services and those that go on to receive treatment.</p><p> </p><p>There are many reasons why a referral to NHS children’s mental health services might be rejected – some cases are not appropriate for NHS treatment and there are more appropriate sources of help. However, we can confirm that in 2017/18 NHS England had a contract with Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust to provide the Veteran Mental Health Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service (TILS) in the North region, which includes South Yorkshire. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2018 answer text <p>The Government recognises that early intervention is absolutely vital and is committed to ensuring everyone with an eating disorder has access to timely treatment.</p><p> </p><p>For children and young people, the Government set up the first waiting times to improve access to eating disorders services for children and young people - so that by 2020/21 95% of children with an eating disorder will receive treatment within one week for urgent cases and within four weeks for routine cases. Latest figures indicate that the National Health Service is on track to meet that standard with almost 78.9% of all patients starting urgent treatment within one week and 79.9% of patients starting routine treatment within four weeks (Quarter 4 2017-2018).</p><p> </p><p>Source: <a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/cyped-waiting-times/" target="_blank">https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/cyped-waiting-times/</a></p><p> </p><p>The Government announced in 2014 that it would invest £150 million to expand eating disorder community-based care and as a result 70 dedicated new or extended community services are now either open or in development. However this information is not broken down to show information on expenditure for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Budgets and contracts for services are decided and commissioned locally by clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) which assess local needs. Furthermore, NHS England does not determine allocations or contracts for local authorities. Again, these are decided and commissioned locally by CCGs in response to local need.</p><p> </p><p>Under the Mental Health Investment Standard (MHIS), all CCGs are required to increase mental health expenditure in line with their overall allocation.
