We continue to raise all our dual nationals detained in Iran with the Iranian Government at every opportunity, and make decisions in line with what we believe will produce the best outcomes in their cases. However, we will not be providing a continuous commentary. Due to the circumstances on the ground, we are not in a position to make an accurate estimate of the number. Our advice to any British national abroad, who needs emergency help from the British Government, is to contact the nearest British Embassy, Consulate or High Commission - which in this case will be outside Syria. The Prime Minister decides who occupies the building. It is currently shared by the Foreign Secretary, the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union and the Secretary of State for International Trade.</p><p>Since taking office, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs has used Chevening House for departmental use once. As the FCO is present in over 170 countries there is a need for long distance travel.
