	answer	answer answer text <p>The Government is committed to preventing drug use in our communities and supporting people through treatment and recovery and we expect to make an announcement about the Recovery Champion in due course.</p><p>We have established a Drug Strategy Board which includes representation from Government departments and wider partners who are critical to the successful delivery of the Strategy, including those in education, health, criminal justice, housing and employment. The Board is chaired by the Home Secretary and its purpose is to oversee and drive implementation of the commitments in the 2017 Drug Strategy. The Board has met twice since the Drug Strategy was published, the next meeting will take place in early November.</p> question first answered 16/11/2018 12:13:57

	answer	answer answer text <p>Nationally, the Government is already delivering a range of actions through the 2017 Drug Strategy to prevent drug misuse in our communities, support people to recover from dependence on drugs, and support enforcement partners to tackle the illicit drug trade.</p><p>We have established a Home Secretary-chaired Board which includes representation from Government departments and wider partners that are critical to drive implementation of the commitments in the 2017 Drug Strategy.</p><p>However, we recognise there is still further to go to tackle the problems caused by drugs, which is why the Home Secretary recently announced an independent review of drugs. 	answer	answer answer text <p>“Flakka” is a street name for some cathinones. Cathinones and related compounds are controlled under Class B of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and it is an offence to possess, supply or produce them.Tough enforcement is a fundamental part of our approach to tackling drugs and we are working across Government to address the drivers behind drug-related crime and help prevent further substance misuse and offending.</p><p>The UK Drugs Summit took place on 27 February. The Summit brought together all four nations of the United Kingdom to consider the challenges we are facing and to reflect on what more can be done to address drug supply and reduce drug harms. The Prime Minister has also established a Cabinet committee on crime which will help to drive cross-Government action in this area.</p><p>The Government is taking action to reduce demand for drugs, and to build recovery and treatment to tackle harmful substances such as these. We are investing in evidence-based programmes to prevent young people using drugs, for example, we support Rise Above, an online resilience building resource aimed at 11 to 16-year-olds, and FRANK, the national drugs information and advice service.</p> question first answered 11/03/2020 19:34:14

	answer	answer answer text <p>Apetamin is considered to be a medicinal product and requires a Marketing Authorisation or product licence to be legally sold and supplied within the United Kingdom. A Marketing Authorisation guarantees the medicine has met required standards of quality, safety and efficacy. No authorisations or licences have been granted for Apetamin and consequently offers to sell or supply it are in breach of UK legal requirements.</p><p>The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency issues regular warnings to the public concerning the risks of purchasing from unregulated websites and has run a targeted public awareness campaign #FakeMeds across social media which provided detail and tips to purchase medicines online safely.</p> question first answered 24/05/2021 09:52:17
