	answer	answer is ministerial correction answer text <p>The Government has no plans to amend the current system under the Licensing Act 2003 which allows licensing authorities to grant premises licences and make a decision on what opening hours are appropriate on a case by case basis based on the impact on the four licensing objectives. These are: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm. However, this Government has introduced wider powers under the early morning alcohol restriction order (EMRO) which enable licensing authorities to restrict the sale of alcohol in the early hours in support of the licensing objectives.</p>

	answer	answer is ministerial correction answer text <p>The Minister for Crime Prevention wrote to chief executives of local authorities in England and Wales and Police and Crime Commissioners in December about the Government’s recent actions to enable local authorities to address alcohol harms. The Minister encouraged the use of a number of powers including the early morning alcohol restriction order (EMRO) which enables local councils to restrict the sale of alcohol in the early hours and the closure power in the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. This can be used if the local authority or police have reason to believe that the use of premises has, or is likely to, result in nuisance to members of the public or disorder nearby. Licensing authorities also have the power to review a premises licence if they or a responsible authority (which includes the police, health bodies and environmental health authorities) have evidence that a premises' activities undermines one of the four licensing objectives (the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm). The Government also lowered the evidence threshold so that a review of a premises licence can be undertaken where it is 'appropriate' rather than 'necessary' for the promotion of the licensing objectives.</p>

We abolished the previous administration's expensive and ineffective identity cards scheme in 2010.</p><p>Biometric Residence Permits are issued to non-EEA nationals staying in the UK for more than six months. These provide evidence of the holders' immigration status in the UK. The Government has also introduced a series of robust new measures through the Immigration Act 2014 to prevent those migrants here illegally from accessing a range of public services to which they are not entitled.</p><p> </p>

	answer	answer is ministerial correction answer text <p>Action Fraud is the national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime, and takes reports on behalf of all police forces in England and Wales. Action Fraud works in conjunction with the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB): <br>both are operated by the City of London Police, the national lead force for fraud. The NFIB analyses Action Fraud crime reports and prepares intelligence packages for police forces to consider for enforcement action. Action Fraud <br>does not carry out investigative activities. It establishes which law enforcement agency should investigate the crime(s) and disseminates if appropriate.<br><br>Victims of crime who report to Action Fraud receive an explanation of Action Fraud’s role, and what next steps will follow their report, including how the NFIB generates crime packages and information for law enforcement <br>agencies. They will be given a reference number and offered advice on how to protect themselves from being a victim of further fraud.<br><br>Following analysis of their crime report, victims will receive an update on what action has been taken. Where their crime has been disseminated to a police force, they will be given a point of contact and crime reference number <br>for that force. If the information in their report has no viable investigative leads, it is possible that it could still be used to disrupt the enablers of crime (such as blocking websites). Victims will be advised if their information has been used in this way. They will also be informed if there is insufficient information to enable either an investigation or disruption, but in such cases are told that their report will remain on NFIB’s systems and could potentially match against future reports. To date, over 300,000 of these <br>updates have been sent.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

	answer	answer is ministerial correction answer text <p>The independent Migration Advisory Committee advises the Government on suggested changes to the Shortage Occupation List.<br><br>There were no additions to the Shortage Occupation List in 2010, 2012 or 2014. <br><br>In 2011, 33 roles were added to the list and 29 roles were removed. <br><br>In 2013, 28 roles were added to the list and 27 roles were removed. <br><br>The number of roles on the list at any one time is not an accurate measure of the extent of skills shortages in the UK economy, as some roles may be more specialised or more narrowly defined. The Migration Advisory Committee <br>estimates that roles on the current list employ around 180,000 people in total (resident workers as well as migrants) compared to around 500,000 people in roles on the list in 2010.</p><p> </p>
