star this property answer text <p>TfL and its subsidiaries, including LUL, own operational land for facilities such as stations, track and sidings vital for running its railway and tramway services.</p><p> </p><p>Under the GLA Act 1999, land is deemed to be operational if it used to carry on any railway or tramway undertaking of TfL (or one of its subsidiaries), and if an interest is held in the land for that purpose.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Transport does not keep records of which land is considered to be operational.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The UK Statistics Authority is responsible for delivering the census and the National Statistician will make recommendations in 2023 on the future of the census. Census 2021 questions were based on their recommendations following 3 years of extensive research, consultation and evidence gathering. Any future census would follow a similar process when deciding on the format of questions.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>On 16 September, Lord Frost announced how the government intends to implement recommendations of the Taskforce. This includes: concluding the consultation on developing a new regulatory framework, setting out bold strategies and proposals in the areas of data reform, gene editing, medical devices and Artificial Intelligence.</p><p>Across Government, departments are continuing to implement the recommendations, including bringing forward legislation when parliamentary time allows. The Brexit Opportunities Unit in the Cabinet Office is driving this work forward across government.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>As a result of leaving the EU, we now have the freedom to conceive and implement rules that serve our own interests and that are specifically tailored to the needs of the UK economy.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Ministers across departments have responsibility for regulatory reform in their respective areas and for ensuring we seize the opportunities of Brexit. In September 2021, we announced a package of regulatory reforms covering areas as diverse as: data reform, gene editing, clinical trials directive, the Future of Transport and AI strategy. Cabinet Office officials will continue to work with departments to deliver further reforms.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>An announcement will be made in due course to confirm which Minister will lead this work, following the resignation of my Rt Hon Friend Lord Frost.</p><p> </p> more like this
