This phase will complete detailed design and development work will allow the UK to maintain its world-leading status in fusion and enable cost estimates for the full programme to be made in detail. This includes the pastoral care, support and advice given to students affected by delays in provision of accommodation and any offers of alternative housing.</p><p> </p><p>Universities UK and GuildHE run a Code of Practice for university managed student accommodation that includes safety standards, the landlord-tenant relationship, and health and wellbeing. In addition, Student housing charity Unipol runs Codes that student accommodation providers can join by agreeing to meet a set of benchmark standards relating to: the physical condition of the accommodation; management of the property; and the relationship between landlord and tenants. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/10/2019 answer text <p>Formal student number controls were phased out in 2012/13 with the exception of capped medical places to enable as many students as possible to access and succeed in higher education (HE). We have already allocated 95% of the funding available through the £20m Plastics Research and Innovation Fund. This includes £8m on academic research, £6m on collaborative R&amp;D, £3m on an Investor Partnership with Sky Ocean Ventures and almost £2m on a Circular Plastics flagship programme with WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Plan). We intend to lay Dame Shirley’s report before Parliament and publish it alongside the government’s response as soon as possible.</p><p>The department’s analysts provided Dame Shirley and her advisory group background information and analytical support. This will be published as part of the supporting evidence base, which will be presented as appendices to her report.</p><p>My right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Education and his officials have not discussed the paragraphs on the TEF in the strategic guidance letter to the OfS with representative groups from the HE sectors. Discussions of this type would not normally be held with these groups in advance of issuing guidance.</p><p>The department provides grants to the OfS for the development and delivery of the TEF. Further discussions will be held with the OfS on estimating costs in future years when planning for the implementation of the TEF.
