Since 2010 over £240 million has been provided to fund the cleanest buses, and in February 2019 announced the winners of a £48 million scheme which will fund a further 263 zero emission buses. It allows Mayoral Combined Authorities to franchise bus services and local authorities to develop partnerships with bus operators to take the actions which they’ve identified locally to incentivise uptake of public transport. Bus Open Data powers in the Act will require bus operators in England to open up information about routes, timetables, fares and tickets in real time for passengers by 2020. These improvements aim to improve journey planning and help passengers secure best value tickets. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to ensuring that disabled people and passengers with reduced mobility have the same access to transport and opportunities to travel as everyone else.</p><p> </p><p>In July 2018, the Department for Transport launched the Inclusive Transport Strategy which includes a commitment to extend a programme of accessibility improvements at rail stations (known as Access for All) with an additional £300m of funding for the 2019-2024 period. Access for All funding has led to new accessible, step-free routes at over 200 stations. This new funding will allow for similar improvements to be made at a further 73 stations.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, by 1st January 2020, all rolling stock in passenger service must comply with modern accessibility standards. These standards include vehicle access and egress, including the use of manual boarding ramps.</p><p> </p><p>In the case of buses, the Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations have revolutionised bus travel for disabled passengers, with around 97% of buses in Great Britain now incorporating a designated space and boarding facilities for wheelchair users, priority seating and other features to help disabled people board, alight and travel in comfort and safety. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/07/2019 answer text <p>The Maritime and Coastguard Agency routinely invite a range of Government and industry stakeholders to a preparatory briefing meeting prior to each International Maritime Organisation session, including the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC).</p><p> </p><p>At these meetings the attendees will discuss the maritime issues on the agenda and provide advice on these issues. Both the UK Government and its maritime stakeholders are committed to maritime safety including (a) seafarer and (b) ferry industry safety.
