This will most likely need to be in the form of free trade agreement negotiations, given World Trade Organisation restrictions. The UK is ready to progress negotiations on a UK-US Free Trade Agreement when the US is ready to do so.</p><p> </p><p>In our continued engagement with the sector and when these negotiations proceed, we will factor in the tableware industry’s interests into our strategies and approach.</p><p> </p><p>In the meantime, we continue to make it easier to sell iconic British tableware in other overseas markets. We have signed a free trade agreement (FTA) with New Zealand and a Digital Economy Agreement with Singapore. We have completed three rounds of FTA negotiations with India and one round with Canada. We have completed a Call for Input on an enhanced FTA with Israel, and launched FTA negotiations with Mexico, Switzerland and Greenland. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/11/2021 answer text <p>We have not yet signed a Free Trade Agreement with New Zealand but we did reach Agreement in Principle (AIP) on Wednesday 27th October. My officials have been holding discussions with the Devolved Administrations through the entire negotiation and were in constant contact in the run up to AIP. My predecessor, Minister Hands, spoke to the Welsh Government on a number of occasions to update them on progress in negotiations with New Zealand, most recently at the Ministerial Forum for Trade on the 14<sup>th</sup> July. We offered meetings to all DAs in advance of the AIP for NZ being announced. The Welsh government accepted a meeting but the Minister was then not able to attend.
