<p>The new State Pension was introduced in 2016 for people reaching State Pension
age on or after the 6<sup>th</sup> April 2016. The new State Pension replaced the
basic State Pension and additional State Pension, which means that no one reaching
State Pension age on or after the 6<sup>th</sup> April 2016 will have claimed the
basic State Pension or additional State Pension. The forecasted caseloads for the
new State Pension and basic State Pension between 2019/20 and 2023/24 can be found
