The Digital Service will enable bus operators to publish their data so that it can subsequently be used by application developers to create products to improve journey planning for bus passengers across England.</p><p>Live information is in scope to be included in the digital service. Alongside routes, timetable, and fares data, bus operators will be legally required to provide Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data to the Bus Open Data Digital Service.
