star this property answer text <p>We continue to closely monitor the cases of Salman al-Odah, Awad al-Qarni and Ali al-Omari. The British Government is very concerned about allegations of mistreatment of those detained in Saudi Arabia because of their political views. The British Government opposes the death penalty in all circumstances and in every country, including in Saudi Arabia. We regularly raise human rights concerns, including the use of the death penalty, at the highest levels with the Saudi Arabian authorities, both in public and in private.</p> more like this
