star this property answer text Active Travel England is providing funding to local authorities through the Active Travel Capability Fund, which can be used for a range of initiatives to enable more people of all ages to walk, wheel and cycle, including access to cycles. Portsmouth City Council received £74,658 through this fund for 2022/23. Active Travel England also awarded Portsmouth City Council £653,580 of capital funding for the same period, which will be used to build, improve and maintain infrastructure to support walking, wheeling and cycling. The Government also supports affordable access to cycles through the Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme, which is also open to under 18-year-olds in employment (conditions apply).<p> </p> more like this

However, we are automating the creation of the referral form for claimants who miss mandatory appointments. The referral form will then be reviewed by the Work Coach and submitted to the Decision Maker to take the ultimate decision, in the normal way.</p> more like this

Partners are often local organisations with existing community stakeholder relationships.</p><p>b) Removing Barriers expenditure helps customers overcome barriers to secure job outcomes. This may include equipment to start work, clothing and travel cost support.</p><p>c) Training expenditure includes the cost of training courses to give customers the required skills to secure jobs or move closer to work. This may also include the cost of travel by the customer to the training course.</p><p>d) Childcare expenditure includes upfront childcare costs to cover the initial costs before the customer receives their first wage when starting work. Youth Hubs are based in partner premises across Great Britain and bring together employment support from a Jobcentre Plus work coach and place-based wrap around support from local partners to help young people into work. The wider support offered in a Youth Hub will be dependent on local needs. Employability support to build confidence and motivation, access to training and advice on debt, housing and mental health are examples of the enhanced offer some Youth Hubs are providing.</p> more like this
