	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2019 answer text <p>To mark the 30<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the tragic events in Tiananmen Square, the Foreign Secretary released a statement remembering those who lost their lives when protesting peacefully, and urging the Chinese Government to respect the rights and freedoms enshrined in China’s constitution and in international law.</p><p> </p><p>The British Government raises human rights with the Chinese authorities at all levels and will continue to do so. I raised human rights concerns with State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi during my last visit to China. We also raise issues publicly, for example, we registered our concerns about human rights in China in our national statements at recent sessions of the UN Human Rights Council and through our activity at China’s last Universal Periodic Review in November 2018.</p><p> </p><p>British diplomats in Beijing have reported increased censorship and surveillance of citizens in China in the weeks leading up to 4 June. This is a common pattern they observe in the run up to the 4 June anniversary. In recent years, the Chinese authorities have also focused on censoring discussion on the anniversary on social media in China, which has reportedly included some Western news websites being restricted more than usual within China around this period. The British Embassy in China experienced such censorship first hand this week; the Embassy posted my statement in English and Chinese through social media, which was then censored within a few minutes.</p><p> </p><p>We remain concerned by all restrictions on freedom of expression in China and urge the authorities to safeguard citizens’ rights to freedom of speech and expression. It is crucial that governments allow their societies and citizens to remember, debate and discuss important historical events, even when this is uncomfortable for the governments concerned.</p><p> </p><p>The British Government also remains committed to making representations to the Chinese Government on the rights of relatives of protestors. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2019 answer text <p>The DWP and DHSC Joint Work and Health Unit is overseeing progress across 40 recommendations that were made in <em>Thriving at Work: The Stevenson / Farmer review of mental health and employers</em> published in October 2017 these range from short term deliverables to longer term reform. Government is committed to working with the authors of the review and key stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors to ensure that employers of all sizes act to implement the core and enhanced standards and help them, and their employees, realise the benefits of healthy, inclusive workplaces.</p><p>One of the review’s recommendations was about transparency as a significant opportunity to encourage cultural change around mental health. We have worked with partners, including employers, to develop a framework to support organisations to record and voluntarily report information on disability and mental health in the workplace. This framework was published on 22<sup>nd</sup> November 2018 and is aimed at large employers with 250 or more employees. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/06/2019 answer text <p>According to the latest data from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council (RBKC), as of 6 June 2019, of the 201 households from Grenfell Tower and Walk that require rehousing, there are currently 14 households in temporary accommodation, and 3 households in emergency accommodation that are have not yet moved into permanent accommodation. Of these 17 households, 7 have not yet accepted an offer of permanent accommodation. <br> <br> RBKC reports that a suitable property has been reserved for each household. We are consulting on proposals to introduce a safety case approach for multi-occupied residential buildings of 18 metres or more. A safety case approach will require that the person responsible for the building will need to demonstrate to a regulator that they understand and are managing the fire and structural risks in their building adequately. Installing a sprinkler system may be one way of managing fire risks.</p><p>We also specifically asked for views on the provision of sprinklers in new buildings when we undertook our recent call for evidence ahead of a technical review of the Building Regulations’ fire safety guidance.
