The Immigration White Paper, ‘The UK’s future skills-based immigration system’, published in December 2018, sets out the foundation for a single immigration system, where it is workers’ skills that matter, not where they come from. A final People Plan will be published soon after the conclusion of the 2019 Spending Review.</p><p> </p><p>The Cancer Workforce Plan for England, published in December 2017 by Health Education England (HEE), set out plans to expand capacity and skills in the cancer workforce, including targeting additional training support for seven priority professions such as clinical radiology, histopathology, oncology and diagnostic and therapeutic radiography. HEE will now work with NHS England and NHS Improvement to understand the longer-term workforce implications of further development of cancer services. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/07/2019 answer text <p>The new Emergency Services Network (ESN) is the next-generation critical communications system that allows the police, fire and rescue and ambulance services to operate safely, collaborate and innovate. ESN represents value for money for the taxpayer through delivering steady state savings of over £200m pa compared to Airwave.</p><p>The delay in rolling out ESN means that we will continue to pay for Airwave for longer, at current rates. Local forces will continue to have to pay some Airwave charges as well as for commercial broadband services. There will also continue to be some costs for supporting transition teams.
