	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2021 answer text <p>The department will continue to fund some BTECs and other qualifications in future where there is a clear need for skills and knowledge that A levels and T Levels cannot provide, and where they meet new quality standards. Qualifications such as BTECs will continue to play an important role for 16 to 19 year olds and adults, as they do now. This includes for students taking mixed programmes of A levels and other qualifications, and those taking qualifications such as BTECs as their full programme of study where there is no A level or T Level.</p><p>We have been clear that we expect our reforms to be generally positive as students will have access to higher quality qualifications in the future, including the new T Levels. T Levels have been developed with over 250 leading employers, have significantly longer teaching hours and include a meaningful nine-week industry placement that sets them apart from many current vocational qualifications. This will put students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and from disadvantaged backgrounds, in a stronger position to progress into skilled employment or further study.</p><p>Plans were announced on 15 November allowing an extra year before overlapping qualifications are removed. This extra year will allow the department to continue to work hard to support the growth of T Levels and gives more notice to providers, awarding organisations, employers, students and parents so that they can prepare for the changes.</p><p>We are committed to ensuring that T Levels are accessible to all young people and have introduced flexibilities for SEND students. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/06/2022 answer text <p>The department has already completed a mapping exercise of the science concepts in the Science T Level Technical Qualification to the BTEC National Extended Diploma in Applied Science, and this information is publicly available. The mapping also extends to AS and A levels in biology, chemistry, and physics. This activity was undertaken to support higher education providers in setting entry requirements for T Levels for relevant degree courses, and we will continue to complete similar exercises for relevant T Levels in future waves. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2022 answer text <p>A targeted, time-limited pilot campaign to promote Pension Credit in early 2020 included advertising in GP surgeries, Post Offices and social media at a cost of £65,000. Activity was curtailed by the early impact of the pandemic.</p><p>In 2021, the Department ran proactive press and social media activity at no cost, focused around the Pension Credit ‘day of action’ on 15 June.</p><p>The current Pension Credit take up campaign, aimed at pensioners and their family members, was launched in April 2022. It also contains publicity material and guidance designed to help older people understand how they could get Pension Credit and help organisations support someone applying for Pension Credit as well as ideas for encouraging take-up. The toolkit also provides links to information about disability and carers benefits.</p><p> </p><p>The specific information requested around the number of times the toolkit was accessed is not available.</p><p> </p><p>Since December 2019, citizens have the ability to opt-in to use performance cookies on GOV.UK and therefore DWP only sees data from the sample of those who accept these cookies. This means that we cannot use the data available to accurately reflect the total number of visits to the Pension’s toolkit.
