answer
unstar this property answer text
The Government recognises that the community-led housing sector – of which housing co-operatives are an important part – offers significant potential for helping to meet housing need across England. In addition to helping to increase the rate of delivery of new housing, it will help to deliver a range of benefits including diversifying the housebuilding sector, improving design and construction quality, developing modern methods of construction, and sustaining local communities and local economies. The support and close involvement of the local community enables the community-led approach to secure planning permission and deliver housing that could not be brought forward through speculative development.

The principal way in which the Government supported the community-led housebuilding sector in England in recent years was through the Community Housing Fund, making available £163 million in grants over 2018/19 and 2019/20. Budgets for future years will be considered at the Spending Review later this year. Community-led housebuilding organisations that are registered as providers of social housing may seek capital funding from the Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes programme operated outside London by Homes England.

unstar this property answer text
The UK Government continues to strongly champion sexual and reproductive health and rights, and we use all opportunities to advocate for these rights on the world stage. As COP26 presidents, we want to see all countries stepping up their commitments to promote gender equality in climate action. The UNFCCC Gender Action Plan is the guiding tool for action on gender-responsive climate policies and finance, and empowering women and girls to be leaders in local and national responses to climate change. Through the COP26 Health Programme the UK is also working alongside our international partners to champion the development of climate resilient health systems, which should encompass the development of resilient sexual and reproductive health services.
more like this

answer
unstar this property answer text
Cut flowers from the EU do not currently require a phytosanitary certificate and consequently there are no associated inspection costs for these goods.

Customs agents’ fees are a commercial matter, agreed between private parties so there has been no government consultation on this issue.

Defra engage regularly with key stakeholders and several trade associations that represent the UK horticulture, floriculture and fresh produce sectors.

The methodology used to calculate plant health import inspection fees has been consulted on whenever changes are made, most recently at the end of 2021, when a new flat-rate fee was introduced at the request of industry. Respondents to that consultation included the Fresh Produce Consortium, Horticultural Trades Association, National Farmers’ Union, Royal Forestry Society, Welsh Horticultural Stakeholders, and the Woodland Trust.

We will continue to consult with representatives from trade associations and targeted stakeholders in the co-design of the new border Target Operating Model. A draft will be published and shared with industry for feedback soon.
