Pricing arrangements are the responsibility of Member States and are highly context specific, but the Department supports information sharing and mutual learning initiatives, where appropriate, in seeking to improve value for money for country procurement budgets.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Pursuant to my answer to Question 276193, the audit’s findings highlighted the importance of context, and areas where the process could be improved. The audit showed that the majority of programme teams have a good understanding of the human rights risks facing their programmes, and a realistic view of the extent to which risks can be mitigated.</p><p>Responding to the audit’s recommendations, the JFU is updating CSSF programmatic guidance, and the Stabilisation Unit is updating its core security and justice training for HMG staff to align with the revised guidance.</p><p>As stated in my answer to Question 249954, there are no plans to publish the OSJA audit.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>At the time of Adam Smith international's (ASI’s) voluntary withdrawal from DFID procurements in January 2017, our position made it clear that ASI, along with all other suppliers, will only be eligible to bid on future funding if they were able to demonstrate their ability to adhere to the high standards of integrity expected from government contractors, whilst delivering the best results for the world’s poorest and value for money for UK taxpayers.</p><p> </p><p>As of February 2018, following more than a year of voluntary withdrawal from procurement, ASI resumed bidding for work with HMG. DFID is legally obliged to consider all bids from ASI in full compliance with the Procurement Regulations, and we do so in accordance with the fair and transparent tender requirements that were advertised, as is the case with any bidder.</p> more like this

As part of the design of the Investment Promotion Programme (IPP), DIT plans to spend ODA in Nigeria, South Africa and Peru. These countries were selected as they scored highly on development needs and opportunities. To date, no ODA has been provided to these countries as the programme has recently started. We therefore do not see that attempting to define a separate category of finance for loss and damage as useful or practical.
