Conversations are ongoing and officials will continue to engage as work progresses.</p><p> </p><p>There have been no recent discussions specifically about the A1 between the Department and Transport Scotland. However, the UK Government remains committed to working collaboratively with the Scottish Government to improve transport connectivity.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>National Highways is responsible for delivering the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine scheme. They submitted an Application for a Development Consent Order for this scheme in June 2022. The six-month examination of this Application recently ended on 29 May. The Examining Authority now has up to three months to provide the Secretary of State with their recommendation as to whether the Development Consent Order should be granted consent. As part of Greater Anglia’s timetable planning process for the May 2023 timetable change, it has concentrated its services on the Lea Valley route. This change is to reduce congestion on the West Anglia route and deliver better, more consistent performance and greater resilience in the event of any disruption. Edmonton Green will continue to have frequent peak and off-peak services provided by London Overground.</p><p> </p> more like this

Operators continue to respond to changing passenger demand levels and travel patterns and it is important they have the flexibility to do so. unstar this property answer text <p>Transport in London is devolved and is the responsibility of the Mayor of London and Transport for London (TfL). While the Department for Transport works closely with TfL on a range of issues, decisions on spending are entirely matters for TfL and/or the London boroughs where funding is devolved at the borough level.</p><p>No grant money has been given to the Mayor of London for his recent expansion of ULEZ, indeed the department specifically prohibited the use of government-provided funds for it.</p><p>In 2020/21, government allocated TfL and London Boroughs £25m from the Active Travel Fund and has since required TfL to ring-fence set amounts of funding for active travel schemes, including funding for London Boroughs under the local implementation plan process, in the extraordinary funding settlements with TfL throughout the Covid era.</p> more like this
