star this property answer text <p>The Department is currently reviewing Suffolk County Council’s proposed A12 Suffolk Energy Gateway scheme and will announce its decision in due course.</p><p> </p><p>The Department has also asked Transport for the East to provide it with advice later this year on its priority Major Road Network and Large Local Major schemes. star this property answer text <p>Highways England has advised that it will not be removing the tourist signs (brown signs) for the Naseby battlefield site on the A14. Highways England had previously advised that these tourist signs would be removed as part of future planned works on the A14, a decision that was driven by the standards relating to tourist signs on the strategic road network.</p><p> </p><p>Highways England reviewed its decision because it appreciates the significance of the site, and the signs on the A14 will remain in place.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Highways England entered into a conditional contract with BP for the sale of Tollgate Hotel that was conditional on planning permission being granted for development. The planning applications submitted have been subject to a number of judicial reviews, which have delayed the sale. As a result, Highways England have now agreed with BP to move to an unconditional contract; this means the sale will no longer be dependent on gaining planning permission, and Highways England will now be able to move forward with the sale.</p><p>Given that Highways England will be entering into a new unconditional contract with BP for the sale of the property, they have no plans to remarket it at this time.</p> more like this
