Leaving the EU with a deal remains the Government’s top priority. The Government
has accelerated no deal preparations to ensure the country is prepared for every eventuality.
It is the responsible thing to do. The EU has adopted a Regulation, giving UK airlines
the rights to fly to and from the EU for 12 months in a no deal scenario, and the
UK Government will provide at least equivalent rights to EU airlines. UK airports
will continue under the same aviation security regime as they do now. The Government
works closely with the aviation sector, including UK airports, and will continue to
do so.
