star this property answer text <p>As part of the recently announced £1.5 billion capital investment in the National Health Service for 2020-21, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust will receive £224,000 to upgrade its accident and emergency department and £1.7 million to address backlog maintenance at Airedale General Hospital. Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust will receive £10,000 for maintenance at Lynfield Mount Hospital.</p><p>Future NHS capital funding will be determined as part of the Department’s settlement at the upcoming Spending Review. Once our capital settlement has been confirmed with HM Treasury, we will consider carefully how future projects are prioritised within it. We recently confirmed funding for 40 hospitals, with a further eight schemes invited to bid for future funding to deliver 48 hospitals by 2030. A proportion will be mental health hospitals, and details on the bidding process will be released in due course.</p> more like this
